Raymond Bergeron retired as a U.S. Navy Master Chief Bosnmate (E-9).

After serving thirty two years of active service in the U.S. Navy.  He severed on ten (10) different Naval Ships.  Eight of which were Man-O-Wars.  Two (2) shore tours Stateside.  He participated in The Evacuation of Americans From Lebanon, The Invasion of the Panama Canal Zone, The Island of Granada, and The Cuban Blockade.  He also served two (2) tours in Vietnam.  

Raymond Bergeron has been a member of VFW Post 4752 since 2017. He has served two years as the Senior Vice Commander for VFW Post 4752, and he served one year as the Senior Vice Commander of Louisiana VFW District 3. He presently serves as Commander for VFW Post 4752, and he also serves as the Junior Vice Commander of Louisiana VFW District 3.
